WHAT’S WRONG

MATTHEW 5:7 “BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL, FOR THEY WILL BE SHOWN MERCY.”

What is bothering me? Lord, I need your help!

As I continually asked for the Lord’s guidance, He told me.

I was still upset with my friend.

I had ignored his phone calls and never returned his messages.

Why? He offended me! He had no right to say those things.

I thought, how could I pay him back.

What do you want me to do Lord? It’s his fault.

Then God reminded me of something I had forgotten.

Despite my unworthiness, God had forgiven me!

LUKE 23:34 “FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY DO.”

Our Lord knows that unforgiveness drags us down.

It creates anger, bitterness and resentment that damages us, not them.

PSALM 32:3 WHEN I KEPT SILENT, MY BONES WASTED AWAY

Pause for a moment and ask yourself…

Is there anyone I need to forgive???

EPHESIANS 4:32 BE KIND TO EACH OTHER, TENDERHEARTED, FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER, JUST AS GOD THROUGH CHRIST HAS FORGIVEN YOU.
